What is SMTP?
SMTP is the protocol mail servers use to hand off messages. A bulk email SMTP server or high volume SMTP service (SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES, “transactional SMTP service”) gives you a username, a host, and a port. Your app speaks SMTP; they inject mail onto the internet.
Does Brahmastra include bulk SMTP?
No hosted SMTP relay, no “SMTP server for email marketing” that you point WordPress at, and no third-party SMTP API. If your brief is strictly SMTP email sending service, use SES, Mailgun, or SendGrid — then read SendGrid alternatives for when a desktop Gmail sender is the better fit.
SMTP vs API email sending
